Biography

Patrick Alore, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist with advanced training and experience in abdominal imaging and PET/CT. Dr. Alore is RadNet Director of Body Imaging for Southern California and a member of the RadNet cancer imaging team, as well as an adjunct faculty member in the Section of Abdominal Imaging, Department of Radiology at UCSF School of Medicine.

He was awarded a medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, receiving honors in bioethics and professionalism. Prior to receiving fellowship training at UCSF School of Medicine in San Francisco, Dr. Alore completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he was chief resident.

With significant experience in cancer imaging, Dr. Alore interprets PET/CT and body imaging radiology exams for cancer patients throughout the state of California. He also works closely with a sub-specialty tumor board based in Bakersfield, sharing his knowledge of cancer imaging and PET/CT at regular meetings with radiation therapists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and surgeons.

In addition to his clinical and academic experience, Dr. Alore has held leadership roles as Rush University Medical Center liaison to the American College of Radiology and as a member of the executive committee to the Chicago Radiological Society. He has also volunteered for Chicago House and Social Service Agency and as house physician for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He is a current member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
